Residual Value Management

Online application to estimate the residual value of GM vehicles.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The purpose is to allow RVM users to understand the impact of increasing rental penetration on the financials and residual value.

MY ROLE

I lead the visual design, research, user tests to get a sign off on the design and worked closely with the development team, product owners and BAs to achieve requirements and make sure the design is within the existing site architecture to minimize development efforts. 

PROCESS

Research

  • Work with developers and product owners on what the possibilities and restrictions.

Concept

  • Create process flows, wireframes and review the layout with the Users, Product Owners and Development team

Prototyping

  • Create a hi-fidelity clickable prototype to conduct user tests and for the development team to understand the flow

Testing

  • Conduct user tests at the dealership to get quick validation before going in production.

CONCLUSIONS

RVM has been a essential application that is extensively used by corporate GM to asses the values of all GM vehicles
